PHOTOGRAPHS
You will provide the photographs for the portrait. Please select clear, up-close,
and in focus shots of the subject. The better the photography the better the portrait will be.
 I have the right to refuse any orders/photos that I feel cannot produce an acceptable
portrait. I want us BOTH to be satisfied.

PAYMENT TERMS
A deposit is required. (Non-refundable).
This is for my time sketching, planning, color studies and steps preparing the commission.
The contract's balance due upon completion.

SIGNING THE CONTRACT
After all the choices have been made, I will send you a contract outlining ALL details/costs
for portrait. You will sign this contract and return it to me in the furnished envelope.

AFTER RECEIVING PAYMENT AND CONTRACT
I will begin sketching the artwork in simple line art with pencil. I will post the layout sketch
and notify you when ready to view on my (Whats New) page. You will select the sketch
you prefer for the commission. This step must be agreed upon before application of chosen
medium. Color studies may also be created at this point to advance the work. After that...
working in selected medium I will periodically post the work in progress for you to see at
my website and share the process. It will be like you are here to look over my shoulder as
I create your portrait art. (Depending on specifics of commission) ALLOW 2-3 WEEKS TO COMPLETE.

THE WORK IS FINISHED AND WE ARE BOTH HAPPY
I will take all steps to make the finished work acceptable to you. Once I have posted the
final image and you like it, you will send remaining balance due unless you paid full price
up front for commission. Once payment in full has been received...(this includes time it takes
for all checks and/or money orders to clear my bank) we have completed our contract. I
will prepare to pack and then ship the (unframed/un-matted) finished work to your address provided.
